Hanna and Dylan first met at a Game of Thrones watch party in 2014. Their paths wouldn’t cross again for years . . . but they both remembered each other, and fate never forgets.

In May 2022, Hanna was at a wedding (shoutout Jeff and Sarah!) where she berated her friend Marcos to set her up with one of his friends.

“But you know all my friends!” cried the indignant Spaniard.

Fury flashed in her eyes. “I know you have someone.”

Lo and behold, her instincts proved true. The very next day, her phone chirped with a message. It was Marcos. And he offered one name that would change her life forever: Dylan.

Could he come to Hanna’s birthday party later that night? Yes, yes he could.

From the moment he arrived, the crowd went wild. To this day, some party guests even claim they heard choirs of angels cutting through the Bluetooth. Hanna’s friends from college were Dylan’s friends from high school, and Hanna’s sisters and in-laws rejoiced upon their meeting.

Their friend Jay was going to Art-a-Whirl the next day with Dylan and asked if Hanna wanted to join. Hanna met up with the group (who just so happened to include three of Dylan’s groomsmen, Jay, Marcos, and Mason!). Dylan and Hanna navigated the galleries together. Among all those open art studios, their hearts also opened that day.

Since those fateful first days, Hanna and Dylan have moved in together at Dylan’s home, fostered Wilbur the dog, and taken their love on tour to concerts, family vacations, and many memorable trips.

They made things official on a trip to Winona, Minnesota on October 11, 2025, and they are looking forward to a lifetime of laughter and love.
